Really lovely photos, we are going to Scotland sept 2011, we have been all around the world but never Scotland, we are so looking foward to it, Joe Mcfadden (heartbeat) is a very good friend of ours he is doing a play in Glasgow so that was our excuse to go to Scotland, we will start there, make our way to John o Groats, then back down the other side back to Bristol, we have a motorhome so we are going in that, we hope it meets all our expectations, going by your photos we are sure it will.

I am a retired lady who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. I have friends who live in the Borders of Scotland, the beautiful small village of St. Boswells. They come to Phoenix every year and spend several weeks here. I think they are as in love with Arizona as I am with Scotland. I have never been to Scotland, but their friendship for the last six years has enticed me to fall in love with their beautiful Scotland! I hope perhaps one day to visit, but for now the pictures such as yours and all the books I have collected these past six years will have to suffice. If my friends are any example of the Scottish people, their warmth, generosity and personality are as beautiful as the country of Scotland.
