The Highlands

The wild rugged Highlands are all about mountains, lochs, sea and moors so forget people, villages and castles. From the gloomy Glen Coe, eastwards passed the mysterious Loch Ness and up north to Thurso, the gateway to Orkney and Shetland Islands, or follow the narrow single track roads along the west coast, to Gairloch, Ullapool right up to Cape Wrath and Durness. This is one of the most wild and impressive places you can see.
